Final Renovations Underway at UPAC

At the heart of the Midtown Arts District, the historic Ulster Performing Arts Center (UPAC) is buzzing with the hum of construction this spring as the final phase of its comprehensive restoration plan that began in 2006 begins. UPAC will be closed throughout the summer for major upgrades in the HVAC system and much-needed restroom expansion. When the work is completed, the theater will be open year-round for performances and community events. Stay tuned for progress reports and news about the Grand Reopening this fall.

While UPAC is closed, the Bardavon continues to present performances in Poughkeepsie and will open Kingston’s new summer venue on the Hudson River, The Hutton Brickyards, with the legendary Bob Dylan and His Band on June 23 and 24. Info: Bardavon Box Office 845-473-2072 or
