1st Saturday is my favorite Saturday of the month, and it’s really exciting to see all the new galleries opening in MAD and throughout Kingston. I started in the Rondout at StoneStyling by Tyler – I’m a big fan of his outdoor sculptures on the Rondout Promenade but had never visited his funky studio before – before hitting the galleries on lower Broadway and then heading up to the MAD. Everywhere I went, I found great crowds, plenty of artistic diversity and happy artists and art lovers. Even the rainy weather couldn’t dampen the enthusiasm that’s building in MAD, the heart of Kingston.
