The festivities for the 4th annual MAD Celebration of the Arts kick off at Deep Listening Plaza. Last year, the Kingston Common Council and the Kingston Arts Commission designated the “Deep Listening Plaza in Honor of Pauline Oliveros” and this year, a brief sign unveiling ceremony will be held there at 5:45 pm. (The Plaza is located at 615 Broadway near UPAC.)

Following the unveiling, several huge paper mache processional figures from Arm of the Sea Theater, accompanied by the Percussion Orchestra of Kingston (POOK) and Energy Dance Company, will lead a colorful and lively street parade a few blocks to The Cornell Creative Arts Center at The Arc at the corner of Cornell and Bruyn Streets. All are welcome to join the parade!
