Deborah Mills Thackrey uses her photographic images to digitally print on textiles and design a wide range of products. She is designing textiles for interiors, fashion, shoes, sunglasses, etc. She is also upcycling vintage chairs by hand-painting them and re-upholstering them with her fabric. Her images are mostly abstract consisting of reflections, the patina of rust and craquelure of aging paint, plus bold details of tagging and graffiti.
