DESCRIPTION: Throughout my career as a painter I have explored the genres of landscape, figurative, floral/botanical, and abstract images. Currently, I am working on a series of abstract pieces that are made by painting and sanding, repainting and buffing, to let the past merge with the present. Rich in color with unexpected textures and metallics, the resulting images are reminiscent of found objects, fragments of the past that possess an unexplained beauty of what remains.
