4th Annual Made In Kingston
December 8, 4-8pm
The brainchild of the Business Alliance of Kingston (BAK), this year’s Made In Kingston will showcase more than 50 local artists, craftspeople and arts-based businesses. This exciting and fun expo of Kingston’s maker community also features select food vendors, handcrafted beverages and musical performances. The City of Kingston, Kingston’s Midtown Arts District, Arts Mid Hudson and TRANSART join BAK in co-sponsoring the 2016 event.
LOCATION: Kingston visual artist Angela Rose Voulegaris has offered the first floor of her 15,000-square-foot Ferrovia Studios for the event. There are entrances at 17 Railroad Avenue and 22 Thomas Street. When renovations are completed, the building will house a number of artists’ studios, exhibition space, a large ground floor space and two storefronts. A 75 kW solar installation acting as a canopy for parked cars on Railroad Avenue will provide electric power to the building. For more info, please visit http://madeinkingstonny.com.
