MAD’s 2019 Celebration of the Arts will be held on August 3rd in the SUNY Ulster campus in Midtown.

In a dramatic change from past years, we are holding an EXPO to showcase the incredible range of the arts in Kingston. The EXPO will feature 23 local artists who will provide demonstrations and free workshops on painting, sculpture, pottery throwing, dance, musical instrument making, printmaking, costume drawing, singing, Chinese brush painting, music/video editing, theater, and book binding. 

It will be a totally unique and entirely hands-on event for members of the community – adults and children – from 10 am until 3pm, culminating with a concert featuring Jay Ungar and Molly Mason and a performance by Arm of the Sea Theater.

We are seeking support from a select group of community shakers such as yourselves to help fund this remarkable event. Your contribution will be amply indicated in our promotional materials for this event which promises to become a serious annual institution.

The deadline for being recognized on printed Expo materials is Friday, August 25.
