Kingston Makers and Growers Market Kicks Off June 29

Are you a maker or grower? Do you sell to makers or growers? Are you a writer, musician or performer? Come spend your Thursdays at The Collective at Broadway Commons right in the heart of Kingston.

Founder and organizer Robert Airhart says, “This market is designed for all that make and grow—or sell to those who make and grow. Artists, farmers, woodworkers and distillers are just a few examples of those who are part of our manufacturing base here in the Hudson Valley. Access to the local community is crucial to our individual success.”

Airhart has served on the board of the Kingston Farmers Market (KFM) for nearly a decade because he believes in putting farmers in direct contact with the community. “My goal is to expand that to makers as well,” he says, describing his new venture, which is completely separate from the KFM. “By adding a mid-week market, the community, the makers and the growers will gain an additional day of contact.”
